In this classic routine, a bill borrowed from the audience and signed mysteriously vanishes. Then, the audience is presented with a sealed brass tube. They open the lock, unscrew the lid, and to their astonishment, find the bill safely stored inside.
But imagine this: the brass tube is first enclosed in a tightly bound velvet bag. Opening the lock on the brass tube reveals yet another smaller tube inside. The audience eagerly spends more than 10 seconds unscrewing the lid of the smaller tube, finally revealing the bill inside.

Do you need the bag for the double transposition or can I perform it without the bag?
For the double transposition (large and small tubes), you can perform it without using the bag. The bag can be used for the triple transposition (bound bag and two tubes) or paired with one of the tubes for the double transposition.

Can the smaller tube be used by itself as a regular bill tube? also, what is the size of both bill tubes
Yes, both tubes can be used separately for a single transportation or a double transportation when paired with the bag. The large tube features a padlock and has the following dimensions: lid diameter of 29.8mm, tube diameter of 25.8mm, and height of 78.2mm. The small tube has a deep screw thread instead and requires more time for the audience to open. Its dimensions are as follows: lid diameter of 21.2mm, tube diameter of 20mm, and height of 66mm.

Yes, the tube can accommodate other items such as a ring or coin, as long as they can fit inside the tube and are not too long.
