In 2012, Lu Chen searched for a deck that would "obey his every command." He collaborated with Si Scott, designer of Smoke & Mirror, who drew a silent chameleon with a dip pen. That chameleon became the original SPAR, a sharp tool for magic.
Thirteen years later, Lu Chen teamed up with designer Lunzi to bring the chameleon vividly back to life.

The unicycle-riding Joker features two stacked chameleons in a whimsical balancing act. Its long tongue coils around the 3 of diamonds, hiding subtle creative details within the card face.
The chameleon becomes a metaphor for magic, capturing the ideas of disguise and illusion. Wandering through surreal scenes and curling around heart suits, it moves beyond simple symbolism, weaving the philosophy of magic into the smallest details of the deck with playful, dreamlike imagination.
