We have all seen an object appear inside an empty box once the lid is closed. Digital Materialization goes further: the audience sees the object take shape before their eyes.

Show the box from every side. Its viewing windows make the empty interior plain to see. Place it on the table and leave it untouched. A faint glow rises from the darkness. Red and blue lines weave through the box like chips and circuits assembling. Then comes a brilliant flash of white light, and a genuine, fully functional smartphone slowly appears.

The complete materialization takes just 10 seconds.

Created by David Penn, Digital Materialization uses industrial-grade injection-molded construction to create a seamless, robust structure. Every unit passes through strict quality control and meticulous hand-tuning, making the illusion appear completely real.

The mechanism is exceptionally simple to operate. There is virtually no learning curve, and only minimal practice is needed to master the effect.

A dedicated companion app lets the effect fit naturally into real-world performances. Set the sequence to trigger automatically, or adjust the animation pacing and details to match your presentation style and script.

The box’s internal dimensions have been rigorously tested to accommodate most mainstream smartphones and provide a precise, reliable fit.

Note: It requires your own smartphone, prepared in advance. An iPhone 17 Pro Max fits inside the box without a protective case.
