There are countless versions of the classic plot Oil & Water, which is favored by nearly all card magicians. In most versions, the magician mixes red and black cards together and magically separates them. 

Here is a special version of Oil & Water, devised by Chen Hui.

In this version, we use the images of oil and water instead of playing cards, thus making the big finale more reasonable while unexpected: water freezes to ice, and oil ignites the fire. It also eliminates redundancies and elevates the overall effect.
